The importance of oxygen

We all know that without food, we can survive a couple of weeks, without water only a few days, but deprive the brain of oxygen and the damage starts in only minutes. That’s how important this colourless gas is to our lives.

Many of us who suffer from a chronic illness such as asthma, COPD, emphysema or other lung related illness need oxygen support from time to time – especially if we are stricken with a secondary infection such as Covid-19 or influenza.

Is there an easier way?

When we think about oxygen support, most of us immediately visualise large, heavy bottles of compressed oxygen like we see in clinics or ambulances. But is there another more user-friendly option? Of course there is...

Oxygen concentrators

Back in 2020 when the Covid situation first emerged, we were suddenly inundated with orders for our high purity (93% plus) oxygen concentrators. Why? Because medical oxygen is only available on prescription and many people wanted to take responsibility for their own family’s health. With their own source of pure, breathable oxygen on hand, they felt better able to cope with a medical situation even if the hospitals and paramedics are overwhelmed.

Due to the current intense wave of Covid infections, we have reduced the price of the OXY-96 oxygen concentrator.

What is an oxygen concentrator and how is it used?

Oxygen is the key to life. Without it, we can’t survive.

And sometimes, we need a bit more O2 than what the atmosphere can provide.

Most of us are familiar with the bulky, heavy oxygen bottles in ambulances and clinics which provide supplementary oxygen when a person is struggling with asthma, Covid-19 or some other respiratory challenge.

But is there another way?

A home oxygen concentrator like this Natural Ozone Oxy-96 is a light and affordable device which uses state of the art molecular sieve technology to separate out the oxygen atoms from the other gasses in the atmosphere and deliver it for use via a nasal cannula or other breathing technology.

Just fill up the reservoir to the level shown, push it into the machine, switch on the power and press the button

Within minutes, oxygen enriched air is being emitted from this outlet. Just choose your breathing device from the accessories, either nasal cannula or head set and connect it up. Couldn’t be easier!

You can adjust the flow rate to whatever your GP recommends with this flow meter.

What are some of the conditions it can support?

Many families with members who have existing breathing aliments such as asthma or COPD choose to have an oxygen concentrator at home on standby in case a medical emergency should arise and the hospitals or ambulance service are already stretched.
